There’s music in the air at The Lyric Coffee House, 246 James Street in Clayton.
Local, accomplished musicians are well appreciated. What started out as a neighborhood-happening now extends on out to Ft Drum and Watertown as word is circulating that The Lyric Coffee House is a whole lot more than just a great cup of coffee lattes, delicious desserts and Italian gelato.
It all started when customers asked if there would be any live music in the evenings; then local, talented musicians offered to play. Kathy Danielson, owner of The Lyric, is delighted because what she remembers from her native Budapest – happy neighborhood gatherings – is also happening in Clayton; her vision and dream!
Ms. Danielson’s dream-enterprise also offers a pleasing place for local clubs and businesses to conduct meetings in a relaxing atmosphere. She has bookings for birthday parties, showers, and corporate meetings. With an approved space for 70 The Lyric Coffee House can meet the needs of most groups.
