Christopher & Jennifer Hopper @ the Lyric!!!
Posted by lyric | Filed under Events, Live Music
So great is the popularity of the contemporary Christian concerts at Frink Park in Clayton these days that even when this Sunday’s event, with Christopher Hopper and his wife Jennifer, had to be moved inside to the Lyric Coffee House because of the threat of rain, there was a spillover crowd – full house inside and two or three dozen on the James Street sidewalks outside. The event was a success!!

‘Meet me at the Lyric’ for a night of Live music and entertainment! Starting at 7:30pm on Saturday July 26th catch Arthur Hinds for inspiration and entertainment through music.
“I’ve been a singer, guitarist, percussionist, and songwriter for Celtic-American folk rock band Emerald Rose since 1996; my major instrument for the band is the bodhran, or traditional Irish frame drum. Being a singer-songwriter, however, has been part of my musical life since I was a teenager, and my solo endeavors return to this root. Many of my songs take their inspiration from the mystical path, Earth-centered spirituality, and Celtic mythology. I also continue to sing songs from the Celtic and American folk traditions. In addition, I’m a storyteller, stage magician, and former actor and dancer, so I have many performance skills to draw on.”
