James McIlroy will be performing Live @ the Lyric this Wednesday evening!!! He plays acoustic guitar. Local artist, Drew Costantino will be opening for James. The concert will start at 7pm.

‘Meet me at the Lyric!’ for an evening of music and entertainment with Scott Shipley. He will being playing the guitar Saturday evening at 7:30pm. Be sure to enjoy a warm latte!
Scott Shipley has been writing music ever since he first picked up a guitar way back in the late 70’s. He released his first CD, Sentimental Fool, in 2006. His song, Partners In Crime, is included on NCPR’s just released Music Heard Up North CD of the best of North Country musicians. He appeared in Clayton this summer as one of the 15 musical acts selected to perform in the Music Heard Up North concert series. Scott feels no particular allegiance to any style of music He is perfectly comfortable stealing from any style that suits his fancy. So expect to hear a variety of styles and influences.

Local artist Nathanael Yelle is playing music @ the Lyric on Saturday, August 16. Starting at 7:30 ‘Meet me @ the Lyric!’ for a night of music. Enjoy refreshing drinks and conversations while Nate serenades the air. He will be playing piano and guitar.
- “I like to be in the background, I enjoy people at the end of the night talking to me and saying ’Wow, I barely noticed you playing!’ Its not about me when I am at the Lyric, its more about the conversations…I am just there to encourage and set the mood. Come on out hear what I have to offer, have a conversation.”

One of Ms. Danielson fondest memories is that of the Hungarian coffee houses of her birth. And even setting the table at her grandmother's B & B. - all of these helped shape Kathy's future in hospitality.
